Pillars of Eternity is one of the many games I worked on as a QA tester and manager. At the time, I was an Assistant QA Manager in the publishing QA team at Paradox Interactive, and PoE was one of our titles.
I was tasked with leading the QA effort for the game, and also tested hands-on. Among other things, I and a colleague tested the states of every single door in the entire game. It remains one of those tasks of my career I will likely never forget.
