The Princess, the Frog, and the Prince (Short Story)

Once upon a time, there was a princess, who wasn’t very happy with being a princess at all.
She hated her dresses and tiaras, and all the silly little shoes her mother, the queen, made her wear.
One day, the princess came across a cottage in the forest, in which there lived a witch.
“Witch, o witch,” cried the princess, “would you aid me in my struggle?”
The witch agreed with a sly smile, and turned the princess into a frog. Then, she picked the frog up, and kissed it on the lips.
In a cloud of magic, the frog turned into a prince most fair.
“Witch, o witch,” said the prince, “you have aided me in my struggle. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you.”
And he lived happily ever after.
